Research at
Sri Vijayanagar College of Law

The Research & Development (R&D) Cell at Sri Vijayanagar College of Law, Anantapuramu, serves as the institutional node for promoting scholarly inquiry, legal research methodology, publication ethics, and intellectual property awareness among faculty, research scholars, and law students.

Operating under the institutional governance of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and in alignment with the UGC Guidelines for Institutional Development Plans (IDP), the R&D Cell fosters an academic ecosystem dedicated to addressing contemporary legal, social, and policy challenges.

1. Key Objectives & Mandate

  • Faculty Research & Publications: Supports faculty members in publishing research papers in UGC-CARE listed journals, authoring legal commentaries, and participating in national and international academic conferences.
  • Research Integrity & Ethics: Establishes guidelines to ensure research integrity, compliance with ethical norms, anti-plagiarism standards, and proper data management in scholarly writing.
  • Interdisciplinary & Regional Research: Promotes interdisciplinary legal research linking law with economics, political science, sociology, technology, and environmental sustainability to address local, regional, and national legal issues.

2. Research Seminars, IPR Workshops & Capacity Building

  • Workshops & FDPs: Over the past five years, the institution has organized 25 seminars, workshops, and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) focusing on Research Methodology, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), skill development, and emerging judicial trends.
